Composite Slate and Copper Installation

This University City townhouse had a porch roof that was covered with a badly damaged non-historical roofing material. We removed all of the installed roofing layers to get down to the original wood. We replaced all of the damaged wood and all wood that had less than 30 years remaining in its serviceable life. A new custom-made pole gutter was installed.

A new copper pole gutter was custom bent and installed. All seams in the gutter were soldered as needed. New INSPIRE composite slate was installed in historical colors. New copper flashing was installed at the masonry areas. The copper was cleaned and sealed for the finished product.
